Lutherwood is nestled in the evergreen trees along the shore of Lake Samish just south of Bellingham, WA. Lutherwood runs programs for campers of all ages on our 103 acres of beautiful waterfront and forest land.

Our facilities are available for retreat group use. We also offer a ropes challenge course experience for team building.

In partnership with Western Washington Lutheran Congregations, Lutherwood is a year-round outdoor ministry, renewing all in the Holy Spirit through education, adventure, service, and prayer.

Congregational camping and picnics

Summer weekends at Lutherwood are a time your congregation can camp out or have a picnic. We have a campground that has water service to most sites, a more rustic campground area that has no water and a group campsite called the point that is right near the lake.
