environmental EDUCATION
Lutherwood welcomes your interest in our unique environmental education program and looks forward to your class's upcoming visit. Lutherwood is tucked away in the Samish River watershed on the north shore of Lake Samish. Surrounded by evergreens and located about 8 miles south of Bellingham, Washington, Lutherwood offers our visitors endless possibilities in outdoor adventures and opportunities to learn.
On a 103-acre property Lutherwood is home to diverse creek, forest, soils, vegetation, and animals. The camp has six heated cabins, 2 lodges, a large and small indoor meeting space, a large waterfront, playfields, a challenge course, and miles of hiking trails.
Whether a public school or a private Christian school, we can meet your needs through either a one day "Touchstone" program or our three-day residential "Trek" program. Click on one of the links below to find what best meets the needs of your group.
