Join Hands Day

Make a Difference Day

Just like Join Hands Day, this is an opportunity for you, your family and/or your youth group to join us in a nationally recognized day of service. Instead of getting Lutherwood ready for the summer , we will be winterizing after a wonderful summer of ministry. Don’t miss out on this oppotunity to spend time working side by side with other members of the community. Come on Saturday and work with us on the nationally recognized "Make a Difference Day".

Adventure Fest – Lake Samish Sprint Triathlon

Challenging. Rewarding. Affordable.

500m Swim // 14 km Road Bike // 5 km Trail Run

"A local, low cost / high reward challenging Sprint Triathlon at Lake Samish, WA. Meals & medals included, no chip timing, no USAT sanctioning...we're going old school to engage the true spirit of playing in the outdoors with friends, family and nature.”

This event is a fundraiser to support Camp Lutherwood’s Youth and Adult Outdoor Adventure Programming.

Date & Time:

• Saturday, August 6 th, 9:00am start. Registration opens at 7:00am, closes at 8:30am.

Timing:

• Each leg will be hand timed using redundant hand systems (NO chip timing). This is non-chipped but we will capture every ones times. 200 maximum participants to keep event small and safe.

Costs: By August 4 th Day-of

Family Sledding Extravaganza

Fun for all Ages!

Looking for something to do after the ball drops and you still have another weekend off before school starts? This is the family adventure for you! We will be testing out our mad sledding skills at Mount Baker!

Junior High/Senior High Ski and Snowboard Camp Cancelled

Two days of skiing/snowboarding, great food, and camp?!?! After the long day on the slopes we will head to camp for hot chocolate, fun, and campfires. What could be better? Join us as we hit the slopes and have a blast! Lessons and rentals are available at an additional cost. See ya on the slopes! (Must have an adult chaperone for every 8 campers.)

$150 Non-Lift Ticket Participants

Annual Meeting

The annual meeting is your opportunity to have a voice in the direction of Lutherwood. Each owner congregation can send 3 delegates (1 clergy and 2 lay persons).

Member Churches are those congregations of official record directly supporting the camp financially in the prior year according to the new bylaws.

Lutherwood is seeking nominations for at least two open position on the Board of Directors.  This is a working Board, meets once a month alternating between the Seattle area and the camp.  It would be nice to have more representation from the southern part of the state/synod.

CIT Winter Bash
