Join Hands Day

Join Hands Day is a nation-wide day of intergenerational volunteerism, sponsored by fraternal organizations including Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. We need lots of folks to offer themselves in service to prepare the camp for its summer ministry.

Bring your family or other group up to camp and have fun serving together. Enjoy the beauty of Lutherwood and help us get ready for another amazing summer of camp.

We have many onsite projects for all ages and abilities to improve our site of over 100 acres, including clearing trails, painting all of our cabins and facilities, building raised trails and bridges, landscaping, upgrading the bathhouses, improving drainage, and many more.

Interested in leading a project? We have a variety of projects to fit your skills and interests.
