At Lutherwood, we believe the impact of our ministry should be available to all people regardless of their current financial situation. We offer camperships for families that need assistance in paying for camp. Please contact us for more information and an application.

Cost for all summer camps is $390. If you register before April 1st, you receive a $65 discount.

2012 Summer Schedule

Elementary Age Camp

Embers
July 29 - 31, 2012; August 5 - 7, 2012

• Entering 1st-2nd grades

Get ‘em hooked on camp while they’re young! What better way to instill the tools of life-long excitement for faith in your child than to send them to camp. We have an exciting 1/2 week of programming filled with singing, swimming, arts & crafts, games and Bible Encounter! Perfect introduction to camp without sending your young camper away for a whole week yet.

Blaze

Come spend a week at camp making new friends, playing games and having a blast! Swim in the lake, go tubing, and encounter Christ and learn new things like archery, rock climbing, canoeing and maybe even the BLOB. Every camper has a counselor that they will fall in love with and remember for years to come!

Camp Rocks! This week is filled with rich tradition of learning about God in fun and interactive ways. As a cabin group, you and your new friends will play games, swim, laugh, dig into the Bible, sing songs, and experience new things together! Grab your friends and come join us for an awesome week of fun.

Lake Samish Fine Arts Camp
July 1 - 7, 2012

• Entering 5th-12th grades

Lake Samish Music Camp is an incredible opportunity for your music student to participate in an inclusive, rigorous, and fun summer camp experience focused on improving camper’s skills as musicians and performers in an inspiring environment in the shadow of the Chuckanut Mountains on beautiful Lake Samish. Each camper will have the choice of a major as well as some supplemental electives.

Electives include:
 Beginning Instruments
 African Marimbas
 Beginning Guitar
 Theory
 Composition
 Jazz Improvisation
 Jazz Band
 One Act Dramas
 Improv Theatre Games

Cost
Cost of camp is $495 per week if registered by July 1st. There will be a $25 late registration fee after July 1st. Space is limited so students will be accepted first come, first serve basis. Limits will be placed based upon instrumentation as to provide a successful band and orchestra experience.

Middle School Age Camps

Ignite
July 22 - 27, 2012; July 29 - August 3, 2012; August 5 - 10, 2012; August 12 - 17, 2012

• Entering 7th-9th grades

A unique blend of Middle School, camp and adventure. Come and enjoy some of the camp classics like camp-out night with tinfoil dinners, blobbing, camp games and more. In addition, try something new in arts & crafts, climb to the top of our 44’ tower, and experience the power of faith in an intentional community. Come meet new people, explore your faith and have fun!

Junior High Epic Camp
July 15 - 20, 2012

Entering 7th-9th grades

This NEW program is for Junior High students ONLY! This week will have a whole new feel that every junior high student will love. Epic team challenges, radical night games, and unmatched fun! Don't miss out on this EPIC week!

Confirmation Camp
July 8 - 13, 2012

• Entering 7th-9th grades

Ever feel like your confirmation group needs a little jolt of something? Confirmation camp is the answer! Join us as we experience and encounter God in new ways. This week is filled with other confirmation groups and will be sure to be the highlight of your confirmation experience! Ever want to see your Pastor blobbed or your youth director dressed up at campfire? Churches provide curriculum and our staff takes care of the rest! Games, swimming, challenge course, and faith all wrapped in one! This is a great way to connect with your youth, connect to Christ and to the church.

OAP Rock & Roll

Jump into the adventure of a lifetime! The Lutherwood OAP (Outdoor Adventure Program) will change your life, perspective, and challenge you in ways you never expected. Learn skills and explore. Get out and live! This week is a combination of rock climbing and biking. You will have a blast exloring, bouldering, hiking, biking, climbing and making new friends!

Junior High OAP H2O
July 1 - 6, 2012; August 5 - 12, 2012

• Entering 7th-9th grades

The mist is rising over the lake on a crisp clear morning. You are out on the lake on the beautiful clear water. Don't know how to wakeboard or waterski? No problem! This is where you belong! Already know how to wakeboard and waterski? No problem! This is where you belong! This camp mixes the elements of water, fun and God into one action-packed week. This is a great opportunity for any level skier or boarder. Come join us on the lake for a great chance to learn something new, meet new friends, and join in Christian fellowship. Please note this program sleeps in a tent village.

C.I.T. (Counselors In Training)
July 29 - August 10, 2012

WOW! Wouldn’t it be awesome to be a camp counselor? Our C.I.T. program is for High School students who would like to learn more about leadership and camp. As we explore what it means to have a Servant’s Heart, C.I.T.’s will have a chance to put faith into action by serving alongside one of our experienced counselors.
