Summer & Specialty Camp Schedule
- How To Register
At Lutherwood, we believe the impact of our ministry should be available to all people regardless of their current financial situation. Therefore, we have come up with a pricing structure allowing individuals to cover the cost of camp based on his/her specific situation. All campers will receive the same wonderful camp experience regardless of tier choice.
Tier #1: $490 is a close reflection of the actual cost of camp.
Tier #2: $340 is 30% subsidized by generous donations from our supporters.
Water-ski/Wakeboard Camps: $25 additional energy charge.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our fees. In addition, your family can request additional assistance by filling our a “Campership” application.

Children's Camp
On-Site Day Camp
- Entering 1st-4th grades
Camp without spending the night! Come and experience the joys camp during the day and comfort of your own bed at night. What a wonderful opportunity to become familiar with camp, and have a blast! This program runs M-Th. 9am to 3:30pm and 9am to 2pm Friday.
Pioneers
- Entering 1st-2nd grades
Get ‘em hooked on camp while they’re young! What better way to instill the tools of life-long excitement for faith in your child than to send them to camp. We have an exciting week of programming filled with singing, swimming, arts & crafts, games and Bible Study.
Explorers
- Entering 3rd-4th grades
Come spend a week at camp making new friends, playing games and enjoying God’s beautiful creation. Swim in the lake, go tubing, and encounter Christ and learn new things like archery, rock climbing, canoeing and maybe even the BLOB. All of this under the loving guidance of your camp counselor.
Pathfinders
- Entering 5th-6th grades
Camp Rocks! This week is filled with rich tradition of learning about God in fun and interactive ways. As a cabin group, you and your new friends will play games, swim, laugh, dig into the Bible, sing songs, and experience new things together! Grab your friends and come join us for an awesome week of fun.
Middle Camp
Trailblazers
- Entering 7th-9th grades
A unique blend of Jr. High, camp and Christ. Come and enjoy some of the camp classics like camp-out night with tinfoil dinners, blobbing, camp games and more. In addition, try something new in arts & crafts, climb to the top of our 44’ tower, and experience the power of faith in an intentional community. Come meet new people and explore your faith and have fun!
Confirmation Camp
- Entering 6th-9th grades
Fun and Faith Formation are the traditions of this week. Come join us for a week with your fellow confirmands from around the state. See your pastor or youth director in a whole new way! Churches provide curriculum and our staff takes care of the rest! Games, swimming, challenge course, and faith all wrapped in one! This is a great way to connect with your youth, connect to Christ and to the church.
Junior High Adventure
- Entering 7th-9th grades
Who would have thought one could pack so much fun and adventure into one week? Make your own meals, face the 44’ climbing tower, meet new friends and grow in your faith, don’t miss out on a week of great fun. Our staff will lead the group in everything from Bible Encounters to outdoor living skills, hikes to canoe trips.If you’re looking for adventure, you found it Please note this program sleeps in a tent village.
Junior Water Ski & Wakeboard Camp

This camp mixes the elements of water, fun and God into one action-packed week. This is a great opportunity for any level skier or boarder. Come join us on the lake for a great chance to learn something new, meet new friends, and join in Christian fellowship. Please note this program sleeps in a tent village.
Senior Camp
Disciples
- Entering 10th-12th grades
A week designed with High School in mind. This program is filled with the traditions of Lutherwood with built in flexibility. What a great way to meet new friends, share and grow in your faith, and have some fun! In addition, join us in great activities like the High Challenge course, worship, all camp activities and more. This program is intentionally designed to coincide with Confirmation Camp II, so join come join us and bring your youth group.
Senior High Adventure

C.I.T. (Counselors In Training)
- Entering 10th-12th grades
WOW! Wouldn’t it be awesome to be a camp counselor? Our C.I.T. program is for High School students who would like to learn more about leadership and camp. As we explore what it means to have a Servant’s Heart, C.I.T.’s will have a chance to put faith into action by serving alongside one of our experienced counselors. Lutheran Music Choir Camp
Lutheran Music Program (LMP) is bringing a conductor and team of choral faculty to provide musical instruction at Lutherwood. During the week each camper will receive both small and large group instruction with opportunities to mentor with the LMP faculty. While this camp is specially focussed, campers will continue to enjoy the camp life with some of Lutherwood’s great traditions and counselors. Watch your mailbox for more information.
