• As a camper? Or staff? Because as a camper I started Summer 1999, but I wasn't on staff until summer 2003. Started full time June of 2008.

About Me:

I grew up in the small town of Sedro-Woolley. I graduated from Western Washington University in the Spring of 2007 with a degree in Recreation and Leisure. I really enjoy photography and being outdoors. Camp is by far my home away from home.

Sitting down by the waterfront chatting it up with some campers

What Brought Me to the Lutherwood Ministry:

After a few years of resistance to the idea of camp, my mom finally convinced me that camp would be fun, so after summer 1999, I haven't really stopped coming to camp. I came back as a camper, and a CIT. I worked on summer staff for a few summers, I did an internship for school out here, and now I'm on staff. I can't think of any one thing that kept me coming back, but really just the constant community.

Three Random Fun Facts About Me:

I'm terrified of squirrels. (they are just so little and quick)

I am borderline obsessed with the TV show LOST.

I like sitting on couches without feet so I can touch the ground and feel like a big person.
