Our 2nd annual “Rooted in Christ, Growing into the Future” Gala has arrived!

We cannot wait to host you!

What’s it all about:

Join us for an evening of laughter, stories, food, and celebration as we mark the 79th year of Lutherwood’s ministry. We raised $35,000 for camp in 2025, and hope to grow that to $45,000 in 2026. Your participation uplifts camp into the God’s future.

So come, eat, celebrate, and share your gifts to support your camp!

Our Speaker:

Jake Sorenson, Ph. D, is the founder and director of Sacred Playgrounds. After spending time in both the parish and professional outdoor ministry worlds, Jake offers his gifts as a researcher and teacher to promote the power of camp and empower summer staffs around the nation. His work has led to deeper engagement in outdoor ministry by individuals, congregations, and the national church.

What Opportunities Are There to Give?

We intentionally limit the number of “asks” during the Gala to two:

1) A Dessert Dash! Want the fanciest cake on the dessert table? onspire with your tablemates to ensure your first choice by outbidding the other tables

2) A call to support. We ask you prayerfully consider how you can support camp and come ready to stand and answer the call.
